Jeremiah 35:19

English Standard Version

19 therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.” (Jer 15:1) 

New International Version

19 Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Jehonadab son of Rekab shall never fail to have a descendant to serve me.” ’ 

New International Reader’s Version

19 So the LORD who rules over all speaks. The God of Israel says, “Jehonadab, the son of Rekab, will always have someone from his family line to serve me.” ’

19 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
