Jeremiah 34:5

English Standard Version

5 You shall die in peace. And as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so people shall burn spices for you and lament for you, saying, “Alas, lord!”’ For I have spoken the word, declares the Lord.” (1Sa 31:12; 2Ch 16:14; 2Ch 21:19; Jer 22:18) 

New International Version

5 you will die peacefully. As people made a funeral fire in honour of your predecessors, the kings who ruled before you, so they will make a fire in your honour and lament, ‘Alas, master!’ I myself make this promise, declares the Lord.” ’ 

New International Reader’s Version

5 You will die in a peaceful way. People made fires to honour the kings who died before you. In the same way, they will make a fire in your honour. They will mourn for you. They will say, “My poor master!” I myself make this promise,’ announces the LORD.” ’ 

King James Version

5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying , Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
