Jeremiah 32:25

English Standard Version

25 Yet you, O Lord God, have said to me, “Buy the field for money and get witnesses”—though the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans.’” (Jer 32:7; Jer 32:10; Jer 32:24) 

New International Version

25 And though the city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians, you, Sovereign Lord, say to me, “Buy the field with silver and have the transaction witnessed.” ’ 

New International Reader’s Version

25 LORD and King, the city will be handed over to the armies of Babylon. In spite of that, you tell me to buy a field. You say, ‘Pay for it with silver. And have the sale witnessed.’ ” ’

25 And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
