Jeremiah 29:18

English Standard Version

18 I will pursue them with sword, famine, and pestilence, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them, (Jer 15:4; Jer 18:16; Jer 24:9; Jer 29:14; Jer 29:17; Jer 42:18) 

New International Version

18 I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse[1] and an object of horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 I will hunt them down with war, hunger and plague. I will make all the kingdoms on earth displeased with them. They will use their name in a curse. All the nations where I drive them will be shocked at them. They will make fun of them. And they will bring shame on them. 

King James Version

18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them:
