Jeremiah 20:1

English Standard Version

1 Now Pashhur the priest, the son of Immer, who was chief officer in the house of the Lord, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things. (1Ch 9:12; 1Ch 24:14; Ezr 2:37; Ezr 2:38; Jer 21:1; Jer 29:26; Jer 38:1) 

New International Version

1 When the priest Pashhur son of Immer, the official in charge of the temple of the Lord, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things, 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Pashhur the priest was the official in charge of the LORD’s temple. He was the son of Immer. Pashhur heard Jeremiah prophesying that Jerusalem would be destroyed. 

King James Version

1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
