Jeremiah 17:13

English Standard Version

13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be put to shame; those who turn away from you[1] shall be written in the earth, for they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living water. (Jos 24:20; Ps 73:27; Isa 1:28; Jer 1:16; Jer 2:13; Jer 14:8; Lu 10:20; Joh 4:10; Joh 4:14) 

New International Version

13 Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 LORD, you are Israel’s only hope. Everyone who deserts you will be put to shame. The names of those who turn away from you will be listed among the dead. LORD, they have deserted you. You are the spring of water that gives life. 

King James Version

13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
