Jeremiah 15:9

English Standard Version

9 She who bore seven has grown feeble; she has fainted away; her sun went down while it was yet day; she has been shamed and disgraced. And the rest of them I will give to the sword before their enemies, declares the Lord.” (1Sa 2:5; Job 11:20; La 1:1; Am 8:9) 

New International Version

9 The mother of seven will grow faint and breathe her last. Her sun will set while it is still day; she will be disgraced and humiliated. I will put the survivors to the sword before their enemies,’ declares the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 Mothers who have many children will grow weak. They will take their last breath. The sun will set on them while it is still day. They will be dishonoured and put to shame. All those who are left alive I will kill by swords. I will have their enemies do this,’ announces the LORD. 

King James Version

9 She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
