Jeremiah 13:1

English Standard Version

1 Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, and do not dip it in water.” (Ex 28:39; Le 16:4; Ac 21:11) 

New International Version

1 This is what the Lord said to me: ‘Go and buy a linen belt and put it round your waist, but do not let it touch water.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

1 The LORD said to me, ‘Go and buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. But do not let it get wet.’ 

King James Version

1 Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
