Jeremiah 10:4

English Standard Version

4 They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. (Isa 40:19; Isa 41:7) 

New International Version

4 They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it will not totter. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Others decorate it with silver and gold. They use a hammer to nail it to the floor. They want to keep it from falling down. 

King James Version

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
