Jeremiah 10:18

English Standard Version

18 For thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am slinging out the inhabitants of the land at this time, and I will bring distress on them, that they may feel it.” (De 28:20; 1Sa 25:29) 

New International Version

18 For this is what the Lord says: ‘At this time I will hurl out those who live in this land; I will bring distress on them so that they may be captured.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

18 The LORD says, ‘I am about to throw out of this land everyone who lives in it. I will bring trouble on them. They will be captured.’ 

King James Version

18 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so .
