Jeremiah 10:16

English Standard Version

16 Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the Lord of hosts is his name. (De 32:9; Ps 16:5; Jer 31:35; Jer 32:18; Jer 50:34) 

New International Version

16 He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like these, for he is the Maker of all things, including Israel, the people of his inheritance – the Lord Almighty is his name. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 The God of Jacob is not like them. He gives his people everything they need. He made everything that exists. And that includes Israel. They are the people who belong to him. His name is the LORD Who Rules Over All. 

King James Version

16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things ; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.
