James 2:23

English Standard Version

23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. (Ge 15:6; 2Ch 20:7; Isa 41:8; Ro 4:3; Ga 3:6) 

New International Version

23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,’ and he was called God’s friend. (Ge 15:6) 

New International Reader’s Version

23 That is what Scripture means where it says, ‘Abraham believed God. God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.’ And that’s not all. God called Abraham his friend. (Ge 15:6) 

King James Version

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
