James 2:13

English Standard Version

13 For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (Job 22:6; Ps 18:25; Pr 21:13; Eze 25:11; Mt 6:15; Mt 18:32; Lu 6:38) 

New International Version

13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 Those who have not shown mercy will not receive mercy when they are judged. To show mercy is better than to judge. 

King James Version

13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
