James 1:15

English Standard Version

15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. (Job 15:35; Ps 7:14; Isa 59:4; Ro 5:12; Ro 6:23) 

New International Version

15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 When these desires are allowed to remain, they lead to sin. And when sin is allowed to remain and grow, it leads to death. 

King James Version

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
