Isaiah 9:6

English Standard Version

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon[1] his shoulder, and his name shall be called[2] Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. New International Version

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 A child will be born to us. A son will be given to us. He will rule over us. And he will be called Wonderful Adviser and Mighty God. He will also be called Father Who Lives For Ever and Prince Who Brings Peace. 

King James Version

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
