Isaiah 63:5

English Standard Version

5 I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath upheld me. (Isa 59:16) 

New International Version

5 I looked, but there was no-one to help, I was appalled that no-one gave support; so my own arm achieved salvation for me, and my own wrath sustained me. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 I looked around, but no one was there to help me. I was shocked that no one gave me any help. So I used my own power to save my people. I had the strength to do it because I was angry. 

King James Version

5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
