Isaiah 62:1

English Standard Version

1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. (Pr 4:18; Isa 62:6) 

New International Version

1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 The LORD says, ‘For the good of Zion I will not keep silent. For Jerusalem’s benefit I will not remain quiet. I will not keep silent until what I will do for them shines like the sunrise. I will not remain quiet until they are saved and shine like a blazing torch. 

King James Version

1 For Zion' sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem' sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
