Isaiah 60:9

English Standard Version

9 For the coastlands shall hope for me, the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your children from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the Lord your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has made you beautiful. (Isa 2:16; Isa 11:11; Isa 44:23; Isa 51:5; Isa 55:5; Ga 4:26)

New International Version

9 Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish,[1] bringing your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honour of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendour.

New International Reader’s Version

9 People from the islands are coming to me. The ships of Tarshish are out in front. They are bringing your children back from far away. Your children are bringing their silver and gold with them. They are coming to honour me. I am the LORD your God. I am the Holy One of Israel. I have honoured you.

King James Version

9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
