12 “I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass, (Ps 118:6; Isa 40:1; Isa 40:6; Isa 66:13)

12 ‘I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass,

12 The LORD says to his people, ‘I comfort you because of who I am. Why are you afraid of mere human beings? They are like grass that dries up.
