Isaiah 42:3

English Standard Version

3 a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. (Ps 9:8; Isa 57:15) 

New International Version

3 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smouldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; 

New International Reader’s Version

3 He will not break a bent twig. He will not put out a dimly burning flame. He will be faithful and make everything right. 

King James Version

3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
