10 who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions, (1Sa 9:9; 1Ki 22:13; Jer 28:1; Eze 13:8; Am 2:12; Am 7:12) 

New International Version

10 They say to the seers, ‘See no more visions!’ and to the prophets, ‘Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 They say to the seers, “Don’t see any more visions!” They say to the prophets, “Don’t give us any more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things. Prophesy things we want to hear even if they aren’t true.
