Isaiah 25:8

English Standard Version

8 He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. (Isa 1:20; Isa 30:19; Isa 37:4; Ho 13:14; 1Co 15:54; Re 7:17) 

New International Version

8 he will swallow up death for ever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 He will swallow up death for ever. The LORD and King will wipe away the tears from everyone’s face. He will remove the shame of his people from the whole earth. The LORD has spoken. 

King James Version

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it .
