Isaiah 24:4

English Standard Version

4 The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the highest people of the earth languish. (Isa 16:8; Ho 4:3) 

New International Version

4 The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the heavens languish with the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 The earth will dry up completely. The world will dry up and waste away. The heavens will fade away along with the earth. 

King James Version

4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
