Isaiah 24:22

English Standard Version

22 They will be gathered together as prisoners in a pit; they will be shut up in a prison, and after many days they will be punished. (Isa 29:6; Mic 4:11) 

New International Version

22 They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished[1] after many days. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 They will be brought together like prisoners in chains. They’ll be locked up in prison. After many days the LORD will punish them. 

King James Version

22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
