Isaiah 24:11

English Standard Version

11 There is an outcry in the streets for lack of wine; all joy has grown dark; the gladness of the earth is banished. (Ps 144:14; Isa 24:7; Joe 1:5; Joe 1:12) 

New International Version

11 In the streets they cry out for wine; all joy turns to gloom, all joyful sounds are banished from the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 In the streets people will cry out for wine. All joy will turn into sadness. All joyful sounds will be driven out of the earth. 

King James Version

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
