English Standard Version

10 and you counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall. 

New International Version

10 You counted the buildings in Jerusalem and tore down houses to strengthen the wall. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 You picked out the weaker buildings in Jerusalem. You tore them down and used their stones to strengthen the city walls against attack. 

King James Version

10 And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.
