Isaiah 1:17

English Standard Version

17 learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. (Isa 1:23; Jer 22:3; Jas 1:27) 

New International Version

17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.[1] Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 Learn to do what is right! Treat people fairly. Help those who are treated badly. Stand up in court for children whose fathers have died. And do the same thing for widows. 

King James Version

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
