Isaiah 17:8

English Standard Version

8 He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, and he will not look on what his own fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense. (Ex 34:13; De 16:21; Isa 27:9; Mic 5:13) 

New International Version

8 They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles[1] and the incense altars their fingers have made. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 They won’t trust in the altars they made with their own hands. They won’t pay any attention to the poles they used to worship the female god named Asherah. And they won’t depend on the incense altars they made with their own fingers. 

King James Version

8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
