Isaiah 17:11

English Standard Version

11 though you make them grow[1] on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow, yet the harvest will flee away[2] in a day of grief and incurable pain.

New International Version

11 though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

New International Reader’s Version

11 The plants might start to grow on the day you set them out. The vines might begin to bud on the morning you plant them. But even if they do, there won’t be any harvest. Instead, there will be disease and pain that won’t go away.

King James Version

11 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
