Isaiah 13:11

English Standard Version

11 I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless. (Isa 2:11; Isa 2:17; Isa 24:4; Isa 24:21) 

New International Version

11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 The LORD will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the boasting of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity. 

King James Version

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
