Hosea 7:11

English Standard Version

11 Ephraim is like a dove, silly and without sense, calling to Egypt, going to Assyria. (2Ki 17:4; Ho 4:11; Ho 5:13; Ho 12:1) 

New International Version

11 ‘Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless – now calling to Egypt, now turning to Assyria. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 The LORD says, ‘The people of Ephraim are like a dove. They are easily tricked. They do not have any sense at all. First they call out to Egypt for help. Then they turn to Assyria. 

King James Version

11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
