28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. (Isa 25:9; Isa 53:12; Mt 20:28; Mt 26:28; Mr 10:45; Ac 1:11; Tit 2:13; Heb 4:15; 1Pe 2:24; 1Pe 3:18; Re 5:9) 

New International Version

28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. 

New International Reader’s Version

28 In the same way, Christ was offered up once. He took away the sins of many people. He will also come a second time. At that time he will not suffer for sin. Instead, he will come to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. 

King James Version

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
