5 Consequently, when Christ[1] came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; (Ps 40:6; Heb 1:6)

5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: ‘Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;

5 So when Christ came into the world, he said, ‘You didn’t want sacrifices and offerings. Instead, you prepared a body for me.
