Haggai 2:23

English Standard Version

23 On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a[1] signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts.” (Isa 43:10; Jer 22:24; Hag 1:1; Hag 2:21) 

New International Version

23 ‘ “On that day,” declares the Lord Almighty, “I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,” declares the Lord, “and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,” declares the Lord Almighty.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

23 ‘ “Zerubbabel, at that time I will pick you,” announces the LORD. “You are my servant,” announces the LORD. “You will be like a ring that has my royal mark on it. I have chosen you,” announces the LORD who rules over all.’ 

King James Version

23 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
