17 God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.” 

New International Version

17 So God said to Noah, ‘This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

17 So God said to Noah, ‘The rainbow is the sign of my covenant. I have made my covenant between me and all life on earth.’ 

King James Version

17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
