20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 

New International Version

20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 Then Noah built an altar to honour the LORD. He took some of the ‘clean’ animals and birds. He sacrificed them on the altar as burnt offerings. 

King James Version

20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
