English Standard Version

3 and seven pairs[1] of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth. 

New International Version

3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. Take a male and a female of each kind. Then every kind will be kept alive. They can spread out again over the whole earth. 

King James Version

3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
