Genesis 7:17

English Standard Version

17 The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. (Ge 7:4; Ge 7:12) 

New International Version

17 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 For 40 days the flood kept coming on the earth. As the waters rose higher, they lifted the ark high above the earth. 

King James Version

17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
