Genesis 4:1

English Standard Version

1 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gotten[1] a man with the help of the Lord.” 

New International Version

1 Adam[1] made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain.[2] She said, ‘With the help of the Lord I have brought forth[3] a man.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Adam loved his wife Eve and slept with her. She became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, ‘With the LORD’s help I have had a baby boy.’ 

King James Version

1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
