15 And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? For our money is gone.” (Ge 47:19) 

New International Version

15 When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all Egypt came to Joseph and said, ‘Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? Our money is all gone.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

15 When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all the Egyptians came to Joseph. They said, ‘Give us food. What good would it do you to watch us all die? Our money is all gone.’ 

King James Version

15 And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
