Genesis 41:43

43 And he made him ride in his second chariot. And they called out before him, “Bow the knee!”[1] Thus he set him over all the land of Egypt. (Ge 41:40; Ge 42:6; Ge 45:8; Ge 45:26; Es 6:9)

New International Version

43 He made him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command,[1] and people shouted before him, ‘Make way[2]!’ Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.

New International Reader’s Version

43 He also made him ride in a chariot. Joseph was now next in command after Pharaoh. People went in front of Joseph and shouted, ‘Get down on your knees!’ By doing all these things, Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the whole land of Egypt.

King James Version

43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.
