Genesis 37:33

English Standard Version

33 And he identified it and said, “It is my son’s robe. A fierce animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn to pieces.” (Ge 37:20; Ge 44:28) 

New International Version

33 He recognised it and said, ‘It is my son’s robe! Some ferocious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

33 Jacob recognised it. He said, ‘It’s my son’s robe! A wild animal has eaten him up. Joseph must have been torn to pieces.’ 

King James Version

33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son' coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.
