16 These he handed over to his servants, every drove by itself, and said to his servants, “Pass on ahead of me and put a space between drove and drove.” 

New International Version

16 He put them in the care of his servants, each herd by itself, and said to his servants, ‘Go ahead of me, and keep some space between the herds.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

16 He put each herd by itself. Then he put his servants in charge of them. He said to his servants, ‘Go on ahead of me. Keep some space between the herds.’

16 And he delivered them into the hand of his servants, every drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a space betwixt drove and drove.
