Genesis 3:8

English Standard Version

8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool[1] of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. (Ps 139:1; Jer 23:23) 

New International Version

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 Then the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking in the garden. It was during the coolest time of the day. They hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 

King James Version

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
