Genesis 29:8

English Standard Version

8 But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together and the stone is rolled from the mouth of the well; then we water the sheep.” 

New International Version

8 ‘We can’t,’ they replied, ‘until all the flocks are gathered and the stone has been rolled away from the mouth of the well. Then we will water the sheep.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

8 ‘We can’t,’ they replied. ‘We have to wait until all the flocks are brought together. The stone has to be rolled away from the opening of the well. Then we’ll give water to the sheep.’ 

King James Version

8 And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and till they roll the stone from the well' mouth; then we water the sheep.
