16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” (Ex 3:5; Jos 5:15)

16 When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.’

16 Jacob woke up from his sleep. Then he thought, ‘The LORD is surely in this place. And I didn’t even know it.’ 

King James Version

16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
