30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!” (Therefore his name was called Edom.[1]) 

New International Version

30 He said to Jacob, ‘Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!’ (That is why he was also called Edom.[1]) 

New International Reader’s Version

30 He said to Jacob, ‘Quick! I’m very hungry! Let me have some of that red stew!’ That’s why he was also named Edom. 

King James Version

30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage ; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
