21 The man gazed at her in silence to learn whether the Lord had prospered his journey or not. 

New International Version

21 Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the Lord had made his journey successful. 

New International Reader’s Version

21 The man didn’t say a word. He watched her closely. He wanted to learn whether the LORD had given him success on the journey he had made. 

King James Version

21 And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
