Genesis 23:20

English Standard Version

20 The field and the cave that is in it were made over to Abraham as property for a burying place by the Hittites. (Ru 4:7; Jer 32:10) 

New International Version

20 So the field and the cave in it were legally made over to Abraham by the Hittites as a burial site. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 So the field and the cave that was in it were sold to Abraham by the Hittites. The property became a place to bury those who died in his family. 

King James Version

20 And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.
