20 And God was with the boy, and he grew up. He lived in the wilderness and became an expert with the bow. (Ge 16:12) 

New International Version

20 God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and learned to shoot a bow and arrow. 

King James Version
